Finding gratitude to live a fulfilled life
Sometimes one of the hardest things to do in life is find gratitude and be grateful. The world we live in makes it easy to focus on what others have or the things you don’t have. You’re constantly exposed to the glamorous lifestyles of celebrities, athletes, and even social media influencers that we follow so if you’re not careful you can quickly get caught up.
But what if you started focusing more on being grateful? What if you started appreciating not only the things you have but also some of the things you DON’T have.
Think about your morning. You most likely got up, had some breakfast, got ready, and started your day either heading to work via driving or working from a home office. You may have thought to yourself “I don’t want to go to work, why do I have to be stuck in traffic?” or “I just want to stay home and sleep in my bed.”
A grateful mind would see those things as all positives. You have the opportunity to wake up a living breathing human, who has a vehicle that takes them to the job that they have from the roof over their head. You don’t have to worry about how you are going to get to work, how you are going to make money, or where you are sleeping that night.
While you may not be driving to work in a brand new car, there’s many that wish they have the lives some of us forget to be grateful for.
Next time you find yourself focusing on the negative, try turning it into a positive. Remember the biggest part of grATITUDE is your ATTITUDE. :)
